About Atelier Melon
What starts with a couple of cells, turns into a complete human being in nine months time. Fingers, toes, and all. Your baby will go from a sesame seed to the size of a fig, to a banana, to an eggplant. And the grand finale: during the last weeks your bump will be something close to the size of a watermelon. 'Atelier' is for your body, creating a new life inside. 'Melon' is for the physical size of your belly. Get it?
We're based in The Netherlands. All our products were designed in Amsterdam.

Our collection & sizing
As soon as your normal jeans start to feel uncomfortable, it's time to switch to pregnancy jeans. Trust us, you'll feel relieved once you put on your new pair of Atelier Melon jeans.
Yes, of course! All our items are designed to be worn until the last bit of pregnancy, and even after. You'll probably wear your jeans the first weeks after your baby is born. And breastfeeding gets a lot easier with our seamless tops and nursing bras. And our shirts, they're wardrobe essentials, pregnant or not.
In our designs we have taken your growing belly and changing body into account. Therefore, we recommend you choose your regular size. On our product pages we've tried to give you as much information as possible about the fit of the product. When in doubt, please reach out. Let us know the product you love, which size you normally wear, and we'll advise you.
Not currently. But since it's easier to make an item shorter than longer, we've made sure our trousers & jeans are long enough for (almost) all. Yes, even tall girls and those with long legs. Our Fancy Pants are designed with a blind hem, so you (or your tailor) can even add a few centimeters.
Delivery & returns
We offer free shipping above €100 for orders from The Netherlands, Belgium & Germany. For orders below that value, or to other countries, there are shipping costs. You can find them here.
Yes, we ship to almost every country!
We get it - when you want it, you want it now. That's why we aim to ship within 24 hours on working days, so your order should be with you soon. We'll keep you notified and send you your track & trace code, so you'll be able to track your package all the way to your doorstep. International orders take a bit longer to arrive, of course.
We always do our best to make sure everything is as it should be, but shit happens, and we're sorry to hear something's not right! Please get in touch by filling in our contact form, and we'll get back to you.
We hope you're happy with your Atelier Melon items, but returning is possible, of course. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to return it in case you are not satisfied.
To start a return, go to our return portal. Use your order number and your email address to login, select the item(s) you wish to return and please let us know why you're returning it. Select your desired postal service, and receive your shipping label in no time. Please note that we do not offer free returns, and that you are responsible for the safe journey and arrival of your package to our warehouse.
Unfortunately, it is not (yet) possible to exchange the size directly. It is best to place a new order for the size you would like, and to return the size that does not fit you via our return portal.
Bundles
We’re here to help you feel confident & look fashionable during your pregnancy. With our bundles we're making it as easy as possible for you to stock up on wardrobe essentials. Plus: there's a standard discount included in these sets. Each set is carefully curated with your comfort & style in mind, to make you look good & feel amazing during your entire pregnancy and early motherhood.
When you're returning one part of your bundle, the discount is no longer valid, and you'll pay the full price for the item you're keeping. We'll settle this with the refund.
In case you want to exchange one of your bundle items for another size - that's possible, of course. Please order the new size yourself at the 'normal' price, and use our return platform to send back the item you wish to return. No worries, we'll settle this with the refund of your bundle to make sure you still get the full outfit at the discounted bundle price.
